1.  THE little children pluck the little 

     branches of palm leaves on the path 

     And they shout Hosannah
  
     This is victorious song that they sang 

     to enter Jerusalem

              Riding upon the donkey for the 

              Salvation of mankind

2.  All the adults endeavour'd to keep 

     them in silence

     But they shout, Hosannah

     If all these people are silenc‘d 

     Behold all the stones shall praise

3.  O tell the daughters of Zion that 

     their King is coming
