HYMN 493
C.M.S 510 t.H.C 336 11s (FE 516)
Tune: Jesu emi o fi okan mi fun O
1. REST abound in heaven but nay here on earth
Why O! would I murmour when trials are come
Rest oh my gentle soul, what e'er comes
      my way
My sojourn cut to brief to quicken me home.
2. Not due nor fit for me, to rest here below
And my castle to build here on earth below
I thirst for the mansion not manually built
Hoping for sacred life all devoid of sin.
3. Even though thorns and weeds, me,
     all to sorround
Yet will I not repose my trust on the world
No respite do I seek here on planet earth
Till I unto Jesus, may rest is assured.
4. Tribulation may rage, my soul not to claim
By the love of Jesus, joyful hymns I'll rend
With His smile, our weeping to joy shall all turn
Just as the whirlwind to disipate the rain. Amen
