1.  Let us be glad in Jesus Christ 

     Jesus the custodian of joy 

     whosoever hath receivelh His joy 

     Sadness and grief shall flee away.


2.  Just believe in His sacred name

     Wholly trust and lean on Him

     And Savour the sweetness in 

     His pure blood

3.  Cherubim and ye Seraphim

     Still art thou in mourning mood 

     Christ Jesus bid thee shout Halleluyah 

     Sadness and grief shall flee away.


4.  Art thou by satan afrightened 

     Witches or be it wizards

     Often call on the name of Jesus Christ

5.  Let‘s share love with all and sundry

     Not within brethren alone
