1.  HAPPY, Happy tidings of the New Year

     We give praises unto our God

     Who spares our lives all to see another year 

     In the land of the living.

              To Him be all glory, power and honour 

              The Lamb of God on the Throne.


2.  Christ Jesus our light and protector be

     Thy fold establish our plea

     Gainful employment provide for the jobless 

     Divinely heal the sick.

3.  The Lord God shall surely my Shepherd be 

     Therefore I shall nothing lack

     He make me in the green pasture to lie 

     And gently restores my soul.

4.  Even though if I shall have to walk through 

     The valley of shadow of death

     Verily, verily l fear no evil

     For always He is with us.
