1.  REDEEM’D from death, Redeem’d from sin

     Redeem'd from ills without, within

     Redeem'd what new light gilds the skies!

     What glories on the soul arise.

               Through time and through eterninty

               Redeem'd! let all the ransom’d sing

               Eternal praise-to Christ our King!


2.  Glory to Him, whose love unknown

     Touch'd man’s a-byss from heaven's

     high throne

     Like some new star its radiance beamed.
