1.  JESUS helps expectant mother

     We need not be afrightened

     Our Lord and saviour is Jesus

     We need not be afrightened.

              For Jesus is ever with Seraph (Cherub) 

              How serious condition may be 

              You’ll ever be triumphant.


2.  Ye Seraph expectant mothers

     Look up to Jesus only

     And put all thy trust on His love

     You will safely deliver.

3.  Our Lord whose life was like to us

     Nine months in mothers belly

     In Bethlehem of Judea

     The joy of birth was chorused.

4.  What is the cause of all your fear

     Ye soldier of Christ Jesus

     Since Jesus with us e‘er abide

     Joy will ever be with us.

5.  From all witches and all wizards 

     From pestilence around us

     From sudden death and all mourning

     Jesus Will be our keeper.
