1. THE rugged cross is all my gain
There the great sacrifice was made
There the Saviour was crucified
And there He bled and died for me.
2. What could have moved His
heart to bear
And to suffer for all my sins?
Not knowing why is the reason
My heart towards Thee is so cold.
3. Silently, there I grew ashamed
Before my Holy Saviour, Lord
