thanksgiving and the voice of melody”

1.  A day of joy thanksgiving day

     All ye Angels here rejoice with us 

     For this great joy God sent to us 

     Amidst the Seraphim here below. 

Chorus:  Ye heavenly Host rejoice with us 

               Raise up your voice, all ye Seraph 

               Rejoice with us rejoice with us 

               Sing praises to Holy Trinity.


2.  Our souls give praises to the King 

     Our hearts rejoice to our Father 

     God For great mercy bestowed on us

     Lest enemies could have mocked at us.

3.  All ye Angels rejoice with us

     All ye who dwell face to face with God 

     The sun, the moon, come worship Him 

    And all the world come and hallow Him.

4.  His strength He has shown to the world 

     As He has shown to our fore-fathers 

     He leads us quietly to Him

     And saves us from all our enemies.

5.  The strong He overthrown for us

     And on His throne he has raised the meek
